FEBRUARY 03, 2021

The Writing Center is open for in-person and online Spring 2021 consultations!

Please make sure you know whether you're signing up for an in-person or online appointment. Check under the consultant's name; if there is nothing listed under the name, they are offering face-to-face appointments. If they are listed as "face-to-face or online," you may choose which option.

  • Online appointments will be conducted through MyWCOnline's online appointment forum. Once you make your appointment, click on your appointment box, and you will see a link to enter the online appointment at your scheduled time. Note: All times on the schedule are in central/Chicago time, so take that into account if you are making appointments from another time zone.

  • For in-person appointments, please be sure either to bring two printed copies of any materials or bring an internet-connected device like a laptop so you can upload your materials for our consultants to access. The consultant will give you directions on how to do this during your appointment. Social-distancing and mask-wearing protocols are in place for all in-person appointments.

Please email with any questions.

Welcome to the University Writing Center!
